Our house is a newly restored four bedroom village house in the beautiful Dordogne region of France. The house lies in the heart of the village of Eymet with the charming medieval square just a minutes’ walk away, here you will find shops, bars and restaurants as well as a bank and post office. 

The house has a large sitting room, a dining room, a stylish kitchen and four bedrooms including one with a huge en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate shower room and downstairs cloak room.

The house is decorated to a high standard and has been fully restored to blend traditional exposed beams and wooden floors with modern furniture, a fully equipped kitchen and contemporary bathrooms.  The thick stone walls and wooden shutters keep the house cool in summer but for later in the year, as the evenings get cooler there are electric wall heaters in all rooms.  There is also a log burning stove in the sitting room to provide extra warmth on chilly evenings or in the winter. The house will comfortably accommodate eight people.  It would be best suited to couples or two families.  The house is a non smoking property and has two twisty staircases so is unfortunately not suitable for the disabled; we are also unable to accept children under the age of five and we do not allow pets. 

Although we have chosen to rent out the house for holidays when we are not there, the property remains our own personal ‘home’ in this beautiful region of France which we hope you will respectfully come and enjoy.

All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as well as a complimentary welcome basket.
